About Hopwas

Hopwas is a small Staffordshire village on the historic A5 Watling Street, positioned between Tamworth and Lichfield. The A38 from Birmingham provides southern access, whilst the A51 and A453 serve northern approaches. Popular with Tamworth commuters via the B5404, it offers easy M42 connections for longer journeys. The village sits in the fertile Trent Valley alongside the River Tame. It's home to the National Memorial Arboretum, a 150-acre site containing over 300 military and civilian memorials.
