Hitchin is a historic market town in north Hertfordshire, 35 miles from London via the A1(M) Junction 8. The A505 provides east-west links to Cambridge and the M11, whilst the A600 heads south to St Albans. Popular with commuters, it offers over 150 EV charging points and sits prettily in the Chiltern Hills. The 14th-century rood screen in St Mary's church is remarkably well-preserved.
