Hillstown

Hillstown lies in Derbyshire's former mining country, easily reached via Junction 29A off the M1. The A617 provides the main approach, whilst the A632 runs through the centre toward Chesterfield. It's well-positioned for exploring both the Peak District and nearby Bolsover Castle, whose ornate Little Castle represents one of England's finest examples of Jacobean architectural extravagance.
