Hestaford

Hestaford lies at the heart of Shetland's mainland, connected by the A970 from Sumburgh Airport (40km south via Lerwick) and local roads to Walls, Gruting, and surrounding settlements. The area has roughly four public fast EV chargers serving the scattered communities. The town's 1847 red sandstone kirk remains a striking example of traditional Shetland church architecture.
