Hartley is a small Northumberland coastal village on the A190 between Newcastle and Blyth, about 15 kilometres from the city centre. The A1 and A19 provide main access routes, whilst local roads connect to Whitley Bay and Seaton Delaval. The village sits between rolling farmland and dramatic coastal cliffs.
