Hare Runs
England
Hare Runs is a small Lancashire community just outside Lancaster, easily reached via Junction 34 of the M6 and local roads through the Lune Valley. The area connects Lancaster with surrounding villages like Skerton and Scale Hall, serving both commuter traffic and visitors heading to Morecambe Bay or the Lakes. The settlement's name derives from the old hare coursing runs that once crossed these fields, with some of the original earthwork paths still traceable in the landscape.
