Hameldon Hill rises from the Pennine foothills between Burnley and Rossendale Valley, reaching 409 metres with commanding views across Lancashire's mill towns. Approach via the A682 from Burnley through Dunnockshaw, or the A681 from Rawtenstall. The summit is crowned by a prominent telecommunications mast visible for miles.
