About Gwespyr

Gwespyr is a small Flintshire village near the North Wales coast, reached via the A548 from the A55 at Prestatyn. The A55 provides connections to Chester (30km east) and Bangor (80km west), whilst local routes serve nearby coastal towns like Rhyl and Prestatyn. The village sits just inland from Talacre Beach, home to the distinctive black and white striped lighthouse built in 1777.
