Gometra

Gometra lies on a tidal island off Mull's northwest coast, accessible only via causeway at low tide. Drive the A849 from Craignure ferry terminal, then take the B8073 toward Ulva Ferry before following single-track roads to the crossing. The causeway remains passable just four hours either side of low tide, with tide tables posted at both ends.
