Glendale

Glendale occupies a remote spot on Skye's Duirinish Peninsula, reached via the A87 and B884 from Dunvegan. Most visitors come as day-trippers from Portree (45 minutes) or make longer journeys from Inverness. The single-track approach roads require careful driving with proper use of passing places. It's the starting point for dramatic coastal walks to Neist Point Lighthouse, Scotland's westernmost mainland lighthouse.
