Georgetown, ID

Georgetown is a small Idaho town of 739 people in Bear Lake County, reached via US Highway 89 from Salt Lake City (120 miles north) or Pocatello (140 miles via I-15 south then US 89 north). The community sits along Bear Lake's western shore at 5,900 feet elevation, experiencing snowy winters and mild summers. Georgetown preserves one of southeastern Idaho's few remaining original Mormon pioneer log cabins.
