Gellinudd lies along the A4067 in the Swansea Valley, effectively merging with neighbouring Cilybebyll. The primary route runs 15 kilometres north from Swansea via Junction 45 of the M4, whilst the A474 offers eastern access from Ammanford. The settlements blend so seamlessly that motorists often pass between Gellinudd and Cilybebyll without noticing the boundary.
