Gawsworth is a historic Cheshire village nestled between Macclesfield and the Peak District foothills. Reach it via the A523 from Manchester or the M6 (Junctions 17-18) from further afield, with local routes from Macclesfield (5km) and Congleton. The village boasts a stunning Elizabethan half-timbered hall with its own medieval tilting ground where jousting tournaments were once staged.
