Froggatt is a Peak District village in Derbyshire, positioned along the River Derwent valley where dramatic gritstone edges meet limestone countryside. Access is via the A625 through the valley, connecting Sheffield eastward with Chapel-en-le-Frith westward, or the B6001 from Bakewell through classic Peak villages. The towering gritstone escarpment of Froggatt Edge above the village provides some of England's most celebrated rock climbing routes.
