Fortuna, ND

Fortuna is a tiny farming town of 41 people in far northwestern North Dakota, just 12 miles from Canada. Highway 5 runs right through town, connecting east to Crosby (15 miles) and west into Saskatchewan. Most visitors arrive from Williston via Highway 85 north to Noonan, then west on Highway 5. The town's grain elevator towers over the surrounding wheat fields, visible for miles across the flat prairie.
