Forsyth is a small county seat along I-94 in southeastern Montana, 43 miles east of Billings. The town serves ranching and farming communities in the Yellowstone River valley. US Highway 12 intersects I-94 here, connecting rural areas to the north and south. The 1914 Art Deco courthouse with its prominent clock tower dominates the downtown skyline.
