Fordyce

Fordyce is a small Aberdeenshire village positioned between the A98 coastal road and the inland farming country, about 7km from Cullen and Portsoy. The village sits at a natural crossroads for local routes serving the coastal communities and surrounding agricultural area. Most visitors arrive via the A98, which runs along the Moray Firth connecting the region's fishing towns. The village church houses remarkably preserved 17th-century wooden galleries, considered among Scotland's finest examples of period ecclesiastical carpentry.
