Fir Tree

Fir Tree is a small County Durham village between Crook and Bishop Auckland, reached via the A689 and local roads from either direction. The A1(M) at Junction 61 provides the main long-distance access, whilst locals use the network of B-roads connecting surrounding villages. With over 100 EV charging points nearby and remnants of the old Weardale Railway still visible, it typifies Durham's blend of rural tranquillity and industrial heritage.
