Escalon sits along Highway 120 in California's Central Valley, about 15 miles east of Modesto. This agricultural town of 7,400 serves as a gateway between the valley floor and Sierra Nevada foothills. Most visitors arrive via Highway 120 from Interstate 5 or use Highway 108 connections to Modesto and Stockton.
