Elmo, UT

Elmo is a tiny farming community in central Utah's high desert, sitting at 5,200 feet among red rock formations. Getting there means committing to back roads - take I-70 to Exit 129 near Green River, then US-6 south for 40 miles. From Salt Lake City it's a 180-mile, three-hour drive through genuine rural Utah. The 1914 red brick schoolhouse still serves as the community's heart.
