Elizabeth is a tiny farming town of 122 people in west-central Minnesota, about 15 miles southeast of Fergus Falls via County Road 1. Highway 210 provides the main connection from Minneapolis, roughly 150 miles east. The classic white grain elevator dominates the prairie skyline and serves as a landmark visible for miles across the flat farmland.
