Elgol

Elgol perches at the end of the B8083 on Skye's southwest coast, where the road terminates at one of the Highlands' most spectacular viewpoints. The 14-mile drive from Broadford winds through wild country, requiring careful navigation of the single-track road with its passing places. The village commands dramatic views across Loch Scavaig to the Cuillin mountains and offers boat trips to the hidden Loch Coruisk, accessible only by foot or water.
