East Wellow is a Hampshire village just off the A36 between Southampton and Salisbury, about 15 kilometres northwest of Southampton. Most visitors arrive via the M27 (Junction 2) then local roads through the Test Valley. The village sits in gentle downland countryside with good access to Winchester, Romsey, and the New Forest. It's famously the burial place of Florence Nightingale, whose modest grave lies in St Margaret's churchyard.
