Dunbury

Dunbury lies at the centre of Dorset's Winterborne valley, connected to the A354 which runs between Blandford Forum and Weymouth. Most visitors arrive via the A31 from Winchester, then follow the A354 south. The surrounding villages like Milton Abbas and Winterborne Stickland create a network of scenic B-roads popular with local commuters. The town's 18th-century butter cross in the market square displays eight carved columns representing the original trading guilds.
