Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire

Driffield is a traditional Yorkshire market town in the Wolds, about 30km northeast of York. The A614 provides the main connection, linking south to the M62 via Howden and north to Bridlington. Most visitors arrive via the A1079 from York or the A164 from Hull and Beverley. The heritage Yorkshire Wolds Railway operates from the original Victorian station, whose red-brick clock tower still chimes every quarter hour.
