Dormanstown is a former steel town on the northeast coast near Redcar, easily reached via the A1085 from Redcar or the A174 coastal road. The area has over 100 EV charging points nearby. Its defining landmark was the massive Redcar Steelworks blast furnace, recently demolished after decades as a coastal industrial icon.
