Donna Nook is a Lincolnshire coastal spot famous for its winter grey seal colony. Reach it via the A1031 from either Lincoln (A158 then A1031) or Grimsby (A16 to Louth, then A157/A1031). The nature reserve only opens during seal pupping season from November to January, when hundreds of seals gather on the beach whilst military bombing practice is suspended.
