Denshaw

Denshaw perches on the Pennine moorlands between Oldham and Saddleworth, a proper hill village where the A640 climbs through stone-built cottages toward the Yorkshire border. The M62's Junction 22 brings long-distance traffic, whilst locals know the winding routes through Delph and the Saddleworth moors. The Pennine Way footpath crosses the main road right through the village centre.
