Deary, ID

Deary is a small farming town in north-central Idaho's Palouse region, about 20 miles northeast of Moscow via State Route 8. Visitors typically arrive from Highway 95, either north from Lewiston or south from Coeur d'Alene. The town of fewer than 500 residents sits among rolling wheat fields and operates one of Idaho's last grain elevators painted in the traditional red and white checkerboard pattern.
