Dalry, Edinburgh

Dalry is a central Edinburgh neighborhood that's transformed from industrial roots into a sought-after residential area. The A8 Glasgow Road runs straight through it, whilst Dalry Road connects directly to Lothian Road and the city centre. It's perfectly positioned between Fountainbridge and the West End, with Edinburgh Airport just 12km west along the A8. The name comes from Gaelic "dail ruighe" meaning "field of the slope."
