Daccombe

Daccombe perches on the hills above Torbay, a small Devon village reached via country lanes from the A380 or A3022. It's a quick drive from Torquay but feels distinctly rural, with narrow roads winding between stone walls. The 13th-century St. Bartholomew's church contains remarkable medieval wall paintings discovered in the 1960s.
