Crosskeys lies in Caerphilly County Borough along the A467, the main valley route connecting Newport with the Welsh mining communities to the north. Most visitors arrive via the M4 (Junction 28) then local roads, or directly up the A467 from Newport. With over 150 EV charging points nearby and easy access to Cardiff (20km), it's well-positioned for exploring the Sirhowy Valley's walking trails and industrial heritage sites. The town literally sits at a crossroads where several valley routes meet, hence its name.
