Cross Stone

Cross Stone occupies a valley junction in the Pennines between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge, where the A646 meets several hill roads. Manchester drivers follow the A56 and A680 through moorland (45 minutes), whilst from Leeds it's the M62 to junction 24, then A629 via Halifax. Approximately 100 EV charging points serve the area. The village takes its name from a medieval boundary stone cross.
