About Crocketford

Crocketford is a small Dumfries and Galloway village on the A75, 12km northwest of Dumfries. The main trunk road connects Stranraer's ferry ports to the English border, making it a natural stopping point for cross-border traffic. With over 20 EV charging points nearby and surrounded by typical Galloway countryside, the village retains its historic role as a waystation. The 18th-century Galloway Arms coaching inn still operates on the old Edinburgh-Stranraer mail route.
