Cowshill

Cowshill perches high in Weardale's upper reaches, accessible via the B6293 from Stanhope through some of County Durham's most remote terrain. The village sits amongst the North Pennines' windswept moors near the River Wear's source, with roughly 14 EV charging points scattered across the wider dale. It's positioned directly beside Killhope Lead Mining Museum, where you can actually descend into the preserved Park Level Mine workings.
