Corris is a former slate village in Snowdonia's Dyfi Valley, reached via the A487 from Machynlleth or Dolgellau. The narrow-gauge Corris Railway runs heritage steam services through the valley, offering rides on the original Victorian line that once carried slate from local quarries.
