Conisby

Conisby perches on Islay's western coast, a stone's throw from Bruichladdich distillery and the whisky trail that draws visitors to Scotland's southernmost Hebridean isle. Reach it via Islay Airport (11km) or ferry from Kennacraig, then follow the A847 through peat bog and pasture. The village overlooks Loch Indaal, where seals regularly haul out on the rocks beside the old stone pier.
