Comstock, NE

Comstock is a tiny farming community of 80 people in central Nebraska's Sandhills region. Take Highway 2 from Broken Bow (15 miles southeast) or drive west from Grand Island via Highway 2 for about 60 miles. The village sits along the Middle Loup River valley where cattle ranching dominates the sandy landscape. Its 1884 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a testament to pioneer days.
