Commerce is a small northeast Georgia city of about 8,000 people, located 70 miles from Atlanta on Interstate 85. It sits in the rolling Piedmont foothills where dogwoods bloom each spring. I-85 connects it to Atlanta and South Carolina, while US 441 runs north-south through town toward Athens and the mountains. The city is famous for Tanger Outlets, one of Georgia's biggest outlet shopping centers with over 80 stores.
