Combpyne is a small Devon village perched on high ground between the Axe and Lim valleys, about 6km inland from Lyme Regis. Reach it via the A3052 coastal road from Exeter or the A35 from Dorchester. Popular with visitors heading to the Jurassic Coast's fossil beaches, it's also on local routes to Uplyme and Axmouth. The 13th-century church of St. Andrew houses a remarkably preserved medieval wooden screen.
