Coligny is a small maize-belt dorpie in North West, just off the R52 between Lichtenburg (28 km) and Ventersdorp (56 km), with the R500 running out to Sannieshof and Ottosdal. Interesting bit of trivia, the town was founded in 1922 and named after French Huguenot leader Gaspard de Coligny.
