Clowne

Clowne is a former mining town in northeast Derbyshire, positioned between Sheffield and Chesterfield along the A616. Most visitors arrive via M1 Junction 30, then follow the A616 through Barlborough, whilst locals use the B6417 for trips to neighbouring villages like Whitwell and Barlborough. The area has over 150 public EV charging points. The town's weathered stone market cross has marked the centre for centuries, reflecting its historical role as a local trading hub.
