Chwilog is a small Gwynedd village on the Llŷn Peninsula, reached via the A497 from Porthmadog or A499 from Pwllheli. It sits about 8km southwest of Pwllheli in rolling farmland that slopes toward the Irish Sea coast. The village serves as a gateway to the peninsula's western reaches and remains strongly Welsh-speaking, with most residents using Welsh as their first language.
