Chepstow

Wales

Chepstow guards the mouth of the River Wye where Wales meets England, reached via the M48 Severn Bridge from the east or the A48 from Newport and Cardiff. The A466 provides the scenic Wye Valley route to Monmouth, whilst over 100 EV charging points serve the growing electric traffic between South Wales and the Southwest. Chepstow Castle, Britain's first stone fortress, still towers 120 feet above the river on its original Norman foundations from 1067.
