Most visitors arrive via the M40 and A34, or the A44 from Birmingham through Evesham. The village sits on elevated ground near the Warwickshire border, surrounded by typical Cotswold countryside. Chastleton House, a superb Jacobean mansion from 1612, features England's oldest playable croquet lawn.
