Cayton lies between Scarborough and Filey on Yorkshire's coast, reached via the A165 coastal road or A64 from York. The village serves as a quieter alternative to the busier resorts whilst offering easy access to both. It's particularly known for Cayton Bay Holiday Village, perched on clifftops above a secluded beach accessible only by a steep cliff path.
