Carwinley

Carwinley lies in northern Cumbria, eight kilometres from the Scottish border near Gretna. Reach it via the A7 north from Carlisle, or from the M74 if coming from Scotland. The area sits between the Solway Firth and Hadrian's Wall country, with rolling hills and working farms. Electric vehicle charging is well-covered with over 20 fast chargers nearby. The village sits close to Castlesteads Roman fort, where bath house ruins from Hadrian's Wall still survive nearly 2,000 years later.
