Carrigeen

Carrigeen sits along the N69 coastal road in County Limerick, about 30 kilometres southwest of Limerick City. The village makes a handy stop for day trips, with the N69 running straight through from Limerick via Askeaton and Rathkeale. From Cork, take the N21 north to Rathkeale, then join the N69 westbound. The roads are grand, though the N69 gets busy in summer with tourists heading for Kerry. You'll find about 10 EV charging points in the area, plus more in Rathkeale. The village is famous for O'Brien's pub, which has been pouring pints since 1847 and still has its original mahogany bar shipped up from Cork.
