Carr End

Carr End is a small North Yorkshire settlement tucked into the moors near Glaisdale, reached via minor roads off the A171 from Whitby or A169 from Pickering. The village sits on the old ironstone railway route, with its abandoned trackbed now forming popular walking trails through this former industrial corner of the moors.
