Canonbury

Canonbury is a Georgian residential area in North London's Islington borough, known for elegant terraced houses and garden squares. Access via A1 from the north or A1200 from central London, with good connections to the A10 and North Circular. Popular for short trips to Dalston and commutes to the City via Essex Road. The 16th-century Canonbury Tower, once Sir Francis Bacon's home, remains the area's most distinctive historical feature.
